My name is Nicole, and I am thrilled to share my passion for dog grooming and dog care with you. Let me take a moment to tell you a bit about myself.
My journey in the world of dog care began in 2016, when I started volunteering at a homeless animal shelter in Sopot, Poland. It was there that I gained my first professional knowledge about dogs and began to truly understand their world, especially those who had experienced trauma. In early 2017, I completed my first dog grooming course in Gdańsk, Poland. The sense of accomplishment I felt after completing my first full groom on a miniature poodle named Pepa really stayed with me. It was the moment I knew I’d found something I genuinely enjoyed. At the same time, it made me realise how much more there was to learn and improve on.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge and honing my skills through various dog grooming classes and trainings. I had the privilege of learning from esteemed groomers, including the Polish champion in grooming, as well as other talented professionals who have triumphed in international competitions. These experiences have allowed me to constantly grow and evolve as a groomer.
Originally from Poland, I started my own business there and later relocated to Swansea, UK, in 2019. It was here that my business flourished, gaining significant exposure and recognition. Remarkably, within the first year, my business thrived without the need for any advertising – a testament to the quality of service I provide.
What has set my dog grooming and dog walking business apart is my unwavering commitment to animal welfare. The wellbeing of each and every dog in my care always comes first. Alongside this, I pride myself on providing exceptional professionalism in customer service. I strongly believe in maintaining a consistent brand image, continuously expanding my knowledge base, and consistently improving and extending my range of services. Transparency is a core value for me, and I have been fortunate to receive 100% positive recommendations since the beginning of my career.
However, due to unexpected health issues, I have made the difficult decision to step away from hands-on grooming at the end of 2023. My passion for dogs and my unwavering dedication to this industry led me to discover a new path – educating dog owners and fellow groomers. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise through various resources, such as dog grooming guides and dog grooming ebooks.
By offering these educational materials, I aim to empower dog owners and aspiring groomers with the necessary tools to provide excellent care for our furry companions. From teaching dog grooming techniques to exploring dog behaviour, marketing strategies, and customer service in the pet business, my goal is to inspire and motivate others in this wonderful industry.
